Chicago’s tech talent pool got a little deeper last year.
The number of tech workers grew 2 percent in 2018 from a year earlier, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data analyzed by real estate firm CBRE.

The Chicago metro area has the sixth-largest pool of tech workers in North America at 166,620, just behind Dallas at 169,290. It’s well behind No. 2 New York City, which totaled 264,374, but ahead of No. 10 Los Angeles at 139,774. In 2017, Chicago was No. 7 with 140,080.” Read More
